FUTURES and Paris Photo announce new partnership to support emerging artists

As supporting partner, FUTURES will collaborate with the Carte Blanche program to provide the students finalists and the laureates with a curated educational program, which includes a key collaboration with Magnum Photos. As part of this initiative, FUTURES: Learn with Magnum Photos brings together leading photographers, curators, directors, and researchers to exchange insights, spark critical dialogue, and build community around four main pillars. The program adopts an enhanced format developed by FUTURES, focusing on equipping its artists with professional tools, creative inspiration, public visibility, and peer support.

The partnership will also include the possibility for one of the Carte Blanche laureates to participate in the FUTURES Residency Program in Amsterdam. Taking place at the FUTURES Hub, the program emphasizes the creative journey, supporting residents in their research and experimentation. Public engagement is a key component, with each residency concluding with a public event, where participants can present their work and engage with diverse audiences.
