FUTURES and MPB Team Up Again for the 2025 Residency Program
After supporting the artists-in-residence in 2024, MPB will continue to collaborate with FUTURES in developing this year's Residency Program at the FUTURES Hub in Amsterdam.
After supporting the artists-in-residence in 2024, Europe’s top camera reseller, MPB will continue to collaborate with FUTURES in developing this year's Residency Program at the FUTURES Hub in Amsterdam.
The residency program will place a particular focus on projects that explore the dynamic relationship between nature, the environment, and technology—concepts that are increasingly interconnected and central to contemporary issues.

Each residency creates an environment for experimentation, exploration, and production, offering selected emerging artists the opportunity to push the boundaries of their practice while engaging with critical contemporary themes.
The selection process for the residency is conducted through an Open Call for FUTURES artists, overseen by the FUTURES team and residency coordinator. This collaboration between FUTURES and MPB offers FUTURES artists a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Amsterdam's cultural scene, fostering exchange and challenging their creative intelligence.

The FUTURES Hub will welcome Laure Winants as the artists selected in May for the FUTURES x MPB Residency Program.
Laure’s work explores shifting ecologies and entangled temporalities, creating reactive, living images mirroring the invisible fluctuations of our ecosystems. Her project Time Capsule highlights the interdependence between living organisms and their environments, weaving together biological, social, and techno-scientific systems through artistic and scientific approaches.
