𝗜 𝗡 𝗦 𝗖 𝗧 𝗦 (2019–ongoing) is a long-term project documenting the role of insect farming in addressing global environmental and social challenges, tracing the material flows of contemporary food systems. By converting organic waste into animal feed and natural fertiliser, this practice can reduce pressure on land and water while supporting soil health and crop growth. The project focuses on both the people working towards change and those who would benefit from it. Developed over seven years across geographies and scales, 𝗜 𝗡 𝗦 𝗖 𝗧 𝗦 has grown into a body of work combining photographs, microscopy images, research and an extensive archive of recorded conversations. The photographs were taken in research centres, farms, communities and companies across 14 countries: the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Colombia, Benin, Uganda and the United States (California and Texas).
