We are thrilled to introduce the newest talents to the FUTURES platform for the year 2023, as nominated by our esteemed Swiss partners: Photoforum Pasquart, Photo Elysée, and Centre de la photographie Genève.
In a groundbreaking collaboration, Pro Helvetia and FUTURES recently initiated a call for applications, extending a unique opportunity to three Swiss cultural institutions, each of which has a distinct focus on contemporary photography. These institutions have proudly assumed FUTURES membership for the period spanning from 2023 to 2025.
The new artists joining our platform in 2023 constitute a promising and dynamic group, hailing from diverse backgrounds and showcasing unique creative visions. They are poised to enjoy unparalleled access to a vast network of professionals, markets, and audiences, setting the stage for their artistic growth and development.
Each year, the FUTURES platform welcomes a diverse group of emerging artists from around the world to participate in a long-term program that offers numerous opportunities for them to develop their projects and advance their careers. Through this program, they will have the chance to connect with other professionals in the art world and build valuable relationships, fostering collaboration and creating opportunities for cross-cultural exchange.
This collaborative approach is contributing to the development of a stronger European art network and the creation of a more vibrant and dynamic art world that reflects the diversity and creativity of Europe's many cultures and communities. We are excited to support these artists as they take the next steps in their careers and eagerly anticipate the impact they will have on the European art scene.
