Meet the artists nominated by Centre Photographique Rouen Normandie in 2022

We are happy to announce another group of artists to join Futures this year. The four artists were nominated by Centre Photographique Rouen Normandie. They are Anaïs Boileau, Coline Jourdan, Nolwenn Brod, and Pauline Hisbacq.⁠

They will join the platform’s activities to present their work to international professionals and to network, amongst other opportunities that will be developed for them, including exhibitions, publishing opportunities, portfolio reviews, and more.

Nolwenn Brod

Nolwenn Brod is a French artist based in Paris. She has studied humanities and social sciences, and trained in photography in London and at the Ecole des Gobelins in Paris. She is a member of the Vu Agency and represented by the eponymous gallery in Paris since 2016.

Coline Jourdan

Coline Jourdan, born in 1993, lives and works in Rouen, Normandy. She graduated from the National School of Art in Dijon in 2017. Her work has been shown in group and personal exhibitions (Nicéphore Niepce Museum as part of the Ateliers Vortex Photographic Print Prize in 2019 ; La Gacilly Festival, Baden, Austria, 2021; Artefacts, (Residence 1+2), Chapelle des Cordeliers, Toulouse, 2020; Les noirceurs du fleuve rouge, Full B1 Gallery, Rouen, 2019). In 2021, she received she received the Support for contemporary documentary photography from the CNAP, as well as individual aid for creation from the Normandy Region. The same year, she won the 50CC Air de Normandie artist grant.

Martina Dendi

Martina Dendi (Livorno, 1994) lives and works in Milan. She graduated in photography at the Libera Accademia di Belle Arti (LABA) in Florence and, in 2017, she attended the Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU) in Texas. In 2018, Dendi attended the course of New Technologies at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, where she graduated in 2021 with a specialization in Photography. In 2019, she studied for a semester at Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetem, in Budapest.

Anaïs Boileau

Anaïs Boileau was born in 1992 in Nîmes. She is a photographic artist who works exploring Mediterranean cultures as a constant source of inspiration in her projects. She graduated from the art school of Lausanne, ECAL. She lives in the south of France where she alternates between photographic commissions and her artistic projects.

Pauline Hisbacq

Pauline Hisbacq was born in 1980. After a master's degree in philosophy, she joined the ENSP in Arles, from which she graduated in 2011. She continued the same year with a post-graduate degree at the ICP in New York.
