Anna Perepechai

Catherine Lemblé (b. 1990) is a Belgian photographer based in Brussels. She received her MA in photography from Luca School of Arts Brussels. Her work has been exhibited at FOMU (Antwerp), De Brakke Grond (Amsterdam), Contretype (Brussels), Musée de la Photographie (Charleroi) and Helsinki Photo Festival, amongst others. She was selected for .tiff (FOMU, Antwerp) and FUTURES (European Photography Platform) in 2024. Her photographs have been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Stern, De Standaard, and Frankfurter Allgemeine Quarterly. Through ana­log pictures she examines the ever-chang­ing rela­tion­ship between humans and the more-than-human world. Her second and most recent photo book, Only Barely Still – On Women and Wilderness, challenges conventional ideas about the Arctic and its collective imagination by focusing on the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard and the lives of the women who inhabit it.

Nazlı Yıldırım was born in Ankara and is living in Ireland. She studied at Istanbul University Faculty of Letters. After teaching for a while, she worked as an editor in the publishing industry. Nazlı’s articles have been published in various magazines, newspapers and online platforms in Greece, Belgium and Turkey. Nazlı released her first photo fanzine called Hayret. Her creative journey involves documenting the impact of factors like class, culture, gender, sexual identity, and family dynamics on societies. Through the lens of her own life, she delves into subjects such as gender, cultural identity, discrimination, and the experiences of LGBTI+ communities.

Sixtine de Thé is a French photographer based in Paris. Her work is expressed as a sensory cartography of the visible and the invisible, where themes such as the body, the face and the territory are prevalent. Often on the verge of disappearance or destruction, her images attempt to answer the question: what remains? She has exhibited in France, at Private Choice, Galerie Dohyang Lee, Festival Photo Saint-Germain, Fondation Luma (Arles), and abroad (Lebanon, United States). In 2021, her project Pellicules Aveugles won a jury prize at the Prix Dior pour Jeunes Talents. In 2022, she was awarded the Villa Al Qamar, a residency at the Institut Français du Liban, as well as the research and production residency at the Centre Photographique d'Île-de-France for her project Quelque chose qui noire, a photographic installation on darkness in Lebanon, which was also a ‘Coup de cœur’ at the Prix LE BAL/ADAGP in 2023. Born in France in 1991, Sixtine de Thé lives and works in Paris. She graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2021, after studying art history at the École Normale Supérieure and the École du Louvre.

Florian Gatzweiler (*1998) is a German artist whose work deals with identity, violence and images of masculinity. His projects are characterized by an empathetic examination of personal and social issues, which he often explores in a photographic context. He combines documentary approaches with staged elements to create multi-layered and complex narratives in which he attempts to do justice to the themes and problems of his work. During his studies at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie, which he completed in 2024 under the direction of Irina Ruppert, he exhibited several times, including at EMOP Berlin and Paris Photo. His awards include a scholarship from the Socio-Culture Fund and the Paris Photo Young Talent Award.

Romane Iskaria is a French photographer and artist based in Brussels, Belgium (1997). The photographer highlights the injustices and inequalities of invisible communities with a documentary and fictional approach. Her images, specific to “Care”, tell a story and allow her subjects to become aware of their painful stories. She creates a connection with these subjects that goes beyond the simple link between the photographer and her model. The artist uses photography and the field of video, but also textiles, sound, and sculpture to create immersive installations. She tells stories that take the form of a long-term investigation across several territories. Romane replays specific rituals and stories that also transcend borders, addressing questions around migration and exile. The photographer creates plastic forms allowing her to subvert the codes of documentary. She graduated with a Master's degree in photography from ENSAV La Cambre in 2022 and a DNA (National Diploma in Plastic Arts) from INSEAAM Beaux Arts in Marseille in 2018. She also completed an exchange at the U-LAVAL Visual Arts school in Quebec, Canada. Romane is laureate of TIFF 2024 Emerging Belgian Photography, by FOMU Fotomuseum Antwerpen and the european platform FUTURES Photography. Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions: in the United States (ART-ARK Gallery in San Jose, California; Assyrian Policy Institute in Washington, D.C.), in Brazil (João Pessoa Paraíba Nordeste Art Gallery of the Energisa Institute), in France (Circulation(s) Cent-Quatre Festival in Paris, Lille Art-Up Centre Photographique in Lille, La Grande Vitrine Gallery in Arles, HLM Gallery in Marseille), in Belgium (FOMU Fotomuseum Antwerp, S.M.A.K Museum in Ghent, House of European History Brussels, TAMAT Museum in Tournai, BPS22, Art-Brussels Off, Prix Médiatine, Hangar Art Photo Center, TICK-TACK Gallery, Tiny-Gallery, Fondation Carrefour des Arts), in Armenia (French Consulate in Yerevan), in Italy (L’Asilo in Naples), and in the Netherlands (Flemish Cultural Center). Romane was selected as part of the call for projects launched by Polka Magazine and Kickstarter for the creation and support of an artist's book, with the self-publishing of her first work, "Assyrians," in a print run of 300 copies in 2022. The book "Assyrians" was also a winner of the Belgian Photo Books selection, presented at the Rencontres d'Arles in July 2022.

Mara Palena (1988) lives and works in Milan. Her research focuses on themes such as memory, recollection, and identity. She works with photography, video, and sound, reworking materials from archives, often open and participatory, like home movies, and drawing on a personal archive of photographic images that she has been curating for years to document her life. Her work has been exhibited at various international festivals, venues, and galleries, including the Guardian Art Center in Beijing, Galleria Studio G7 in Bologna, Careof, Marsèll Paradise, Nowhere Gallery, Pananti Atelier, and Video Sound Art in Milan, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Madrid, MOPLA in Los Angeles, Artphilein Foundation in Lugano, and Recontemporary in Turin. Between 2021 and 2024, she was a finalist in several art prizes, including the Lucie Foundation, Combat Prize, Premio Fabbri, New Post Photography, and Artphilein Photo Book Contest. In 2022, she was selected by Camera Torino for FUTURES Photography. Her work Oikeiôsis won the 2022 Surprize Award from Sprint and the Marcelo Burlon Foundation. The editorial project was curated and published by Witty Books in 2023 and was included by Photo España among the 100 best books published in 2024.

Short biography: Odysseas Tsompanoglou (born 1998, Greece) is a photographer based in the Netherlands whose work explores loss, melancholy and collective healing. His practice investigates notions of truth, deterritorialization, hyperreality and postmodernity, often through speculative and situationist strategies that blur the line between document and fiction. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Photography & Society at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, he approaches photography as a collaborative process that questions authorship and invites the publics to co‑produce meaning and dialogue around the visual medium. Informed by his experience with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, he applies strict technical constraints to his practice, using photography as a therapeutic tool to metabolize the instability of time and perception. By recording the ‘glitches’ of a reality that feels increasingly separated from physical experience, his work ultimately seeks to construct a sense of home within the empty coordinates of the virtual age.

Sheung Yiu (HK/FI) is a Hong-Kong-born, image-centered artist and researcher, based in Helsinki. His artwork explores the act of seeing through algorithmic image systems and sense-making through networks of images. His research interests concern the increasing complexity of algorithmic image systems in contemporary digital culture. He looks at photography through the lens of new media, scales, and network thinking; He ponders how the posthuman cyborg vision and the technology that produces it transform ways of seeing and knowledge-making. Adopting multi-disciplinary collaboration as a mode of research, his works examine the poetics and politics of algorithmic image systems, such as computer vision, computer graphics, and remote sensing, to understand how to see something where there is nothing, how to digitize light, and how vision becomes predictions. His work takes the form of photography, videos, photo-objects, exhibition installations, and bookmaking.‍

Claudia Amatruda (1995, Foggia, IT) is a visual artist living and working in Bologna, IT. Her work focuses on the representation of the body through photography, video performances and installations, addressing social issues such as disability and with particular attention to the creative process, supported by research on scientific and literary texts. In 2019 she published the photographic book "Naiade", presented through lectures in Italian schools and festivals to raise awareness on the topic of invisible diseases. From 2021 to the present her project "When you hear hoofbeats think of horses, not zebras" is exhibited in Italy, Greece, France, Holland and England. In 2022 she won the Special Mention for the Emerging Photography section of the Francesco Fabbri Prize. According to Il Giornale dell'Arte she is among the 30 artists under 30 in 2023 and produced NFT works during a PhotoVogue x Voice.com Art Residency. In 2024 she exhibited her project "Good Use of my Bad Health" at the Fotografia Europea Festival in Reggio Emilia, winning the ‘Nuove Traiettorie’ mention of the Luigi Ghirri Prize: an art residency and solo exhibition at the Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm in May 2025. This year she will release her new photography book published by RVM HUB.
