Ondřej Kubeš (* 1999) is a Czech visual artist working primarily with documentary and staged photography, installation, drawing and performance. His intimate, poetic archive-based artworks examine topics of personal memory, identity, affection, trauma, queerness and family relations. Kubeš’s work has been exhibited in the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Belgium. He completed his master's degree at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague at the Photography II. studio led by Alena Kotzmannová.

Fracture of The Sun
The installation Fracture of the Sun reflects on the author's lived experience with queer adolescence and reconciling with past traumatic experiences. The work tells a story about queer shame, isolation, and escapism. The work presents fragments of a personal archive and detailed craftwork with diverse materials. Kubeš works with various photo printing techniques on textiles and leather and hand embroidery, which, in object and costume elements, evoke the feeling of loss, wear and tear and temporality. The metal structure symbolizing the wardrobe serves as a metaphor for hiding and preserving memories.

Joanna Chia-yu Lin explores memory and place through an interdisciplinary approach, incorporating photography, painting, textiles, and installations to trace connections between belonging, home, and the unspoken spaces where emotions and realities meet.
Born in 1995 in Chiayi, Taiwan, and based in Oslo, Norway, Joanna holds an MFA in Medium and Materials-Based Art from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and a BFA in Fine Arts from National Taiwan Normal University. Her works have been shown in several venues in Norway, including Kunstplass, Tenthaus, the Photo Festival Oslo Negativ, Drammens Museum, and Northing Space. Upcoming exhibitions include Fotografiens Hus (Oslo), Yao’s Alternative Space, and Glitch (Taichung, Taiwan).
She is a member of Tenthaus Collective, The Norwegian Association of Painters and The Association of Norwegian Visual Artists. Her works are in the collections of Västra Götalandsregionen, Sweden, and Art Bank Taiwan at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.



Olga Kocsi (1987) is a multimedia artist based in Budapest and Freiburg, creating multi-sensory experiences that explore topics at the intersection of various scientific fields. Her work investigates the relationship between reality and virtual reality, as well as its potential evolution in the future, while pushing and mapping the boundaries between private and public spheres.
Kocsi is known for her complex installations that envelop the viewer, employing a wide range of media including photography, video, animation, and VR. A key aspect of her practice is providing guided experiences that encourage audiences to engage with socially complex messages through self-reflection.
Her main areas of focus include human stories, the mapping of time and reality, and simulation. As an experimental thinker, Kocsi boldly plays with spaces, surfaces, and materials, crafting unconventional situations that actively involve the viewer.

Thalles Piaget (*1996) is a human being - not an artificial intelligence - born in Brazil and living in Biel/Bienne - CH. Essentially vagabond, Thalles is inspired by readings, walks, and reflections. Capturing a moment that doesn’t truly exist, trying to transform the ordinary into a dreamlike experience. Its artistic approach is at the border of dreams, science, and absurdity. Wandering, guided by the moment, playing with its non-existence.
“In my work, I aim to open a window to a dreamlike digital universe composed of surfaces, reflections, and light, free from its commercial intent yet infused with a poetic perspective on the machinery’s materials. In my photographs and installations, I want to explore and question the possibilities of our digital images and their inflationary use in our daily lives. While using the medium of photography, my aim is not to document specific scenes or compositions, but rather to seek what is between the subject and the camera and to capture the moments in between. Photography serves as a fundamental tool in my creative work, yet paradoxically, it is the medium with which I maintain the most critical relationship.”



Emanuel Constantino (b. 2002), Portugal, is an independent photographer currently living in Porto. He has a degree in Photography from School of Media Arts and Design, in P.Porto. He is currently attending the Master's Degree in Cinema and Photography - Specialization in Photography - at the same institution.
His main focus of research and authorial creation falls on the universe of documentary and fiction, in their various intersections and interactions. He seeks to understand and manipulate the boundary at which documentary ceases to be documentary and begins to assert itself as fiction, and vice versa, in his mix. Vernacular and archive photography are also areas that he explores and approaches, usually integrating them into his projects.
He has exhibited at the Portuguese Center of Photography (PT), CEFT – Casa dos Cubos (PT), Galeria da Estação – Encontros da Imagem (PT), IPMA Festival in Kaunas (LT), Belgrade Photo Month (SRB). He won the CEFT Open Call in Photography and Territory in 2024 (PT), and was selected as a New Talent at Belgrade Photo Month (SRB).



Máté Dobokay (b. 1988) is interested in conceptual art and experimental photography, particularly through manipulating the medium and neglecting the apparatus. He is graduated at University of Kaposvár on Photography BA department. He is a member of Studio of Young Artists’ Association. He received a Republican Scholarship for 2015‐2016, was shortlisted for the Leopold Bloom Award in 2015 and for the Esterházy Award also in 2017. During 2014 he was a member of the winning team at OFF_Festival, Bratislava and was nominated for the Lucien et Rodolf Hervé Prix. He was the youngest artist in “IMPACT: Abstraction & Experiment in Hungarian Photography” exhibition in New York. He has had some solo exhibitions and featured in several group shows.
He is represented by acb Gallery, Budapest.



Pierre Vanneste is a Belgian photographer and filmmaker based between Brussels and Dakar,specializing in long-term reportage and documentary projects.
His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries (Biennale ofDakar Contemporary Art, Musée de la Photographie de Charleroi, FoMu,Zone i) and published in media outlets such as Médiapart,Libération, DOC! Photo Magazine, Courrier International (webversion), De Standaard, Tchak, Equal Times, and Alter Echo.
In 2018, he co-directed "Bargny, the real face of economic emergence"a transmedia documentary (photos, videos, and texts) about thedesignation of land for industrial purposes. The project wasshortlisted for the Visa d'Or for Digital Information 2019 (Visa pourl'image festival). His project "DREMMWEL" (a photo project with enrichedvideo content) was published in 2020 by Éditions Yellow Now. It is along-term project on the extractivist model through fishing andoverfishing. This project has been exhibited in France, Belgium,Senegal, and Canada. One of the photographs from the project is nowpart of the permanent collection at the Musée de la Photographie deCharleroi.
He received the 2019 Photographic Grant from the FondationJean-Luc Lagardère for his project "P2O5, the Toxic Impact ofPhosphate" which he co-directed with author-journalist Laurence Grun.
Since 2022, he has been working on various videographic andphotographic documentary projects in Senegal.



Camilla Ferrari (b. 1992) is a visual artist working with images and video based in Milan, Italy.
Her work blends still and moving images to explore the ambiguity
of perception, the coexistence of dream and reality, the eloquence of silence, and the poetry found in everyday life.
Her portfolio includes features in prominent publications such as National Geographic, The New York Times, Essenziale, NPR, Artsy, and Domus. She is a Canon Ambassador.
In addition to her personal projects and editorial contributions, Camilla has collaborated with commercial clients for special commissions, including names like Apple, Lamborghini, Marcolin, and Sony Music.
In 2021 she was one of the five finalists of the ING Talent Award and in 2020 she was nominated by Camera Torino for Futures Photography, a European Platform focused on amplifying emerging artists in contemporary photography.
In 2019 she was selected by PDN as one of PDN’s 30: New and Emerging Photographers to Watch worldwide and by Artsy as one of the “20 Rising Female Photojournalists”.

Bo Vloors (she/her) is a visual artist, writer, photographer and filmmaker based in Brussels. Using image and text, her work revolves around human relations, within and with their surroundings, and the influential power of images.
The Image stands central in her practice. Inspired by natural cycles and symbiotic arrangements, her work finds its origins in the repeated consultation of an ever-expanding archive built up over the past decade. Exploring her role as an image-maker (both in images and words), she defines her writings as The Missing Image, serving a complementary, affirmative or rhetorical purpose in relation to the actual image. Striving to balance aesthetics and content, the formats she uses may vary from publications, spatial installations, audio-visual to audio-performative. Still, The Image remains rooted in the core of her artistic practice, both as subject and material.
Her work has been exhibited at Beursschouwburg (BE), Z33 (BE), Argos (BE), Art au Centre (BE), Decoratelier (BE), SB34 (BE), De Studio (BE), Het Bos (BE), OFFoff cinema (BE), CinemaTEK (BE), Bizet Bizar (BE), Radio Panik (BE), RAVI (BE), Folle Béton film festival (FR), Lateral film Festival (IT), San Sebastian film Festival (ES), Cashmere Radio (DE) and Dublin Digital Radio (IE).



Romane Iskaria is a French photographer and artist based in Brussels, Belgium (1997). The photographer highlights the injustices and inequalities of invisible communities with a documentary and fictional approach. Her images, specific to “Care”, tell a story and allow her subjects to become aware of their painful stories. She creates a connection with these subjects that goes beyond the simple link between the photographer and her model.
The artist uses photography and the field of video, but also textiles, sound, and sculpture to create immersive installations. She tells stories that take the form of a long-term investigation across several territories. Romane replays specific rituals and stories that also transcend borders, addressing questions around migration and exile. The photographer creates plastic forms allowing her to subvert the codes of documentary.
She graduated with a Master's degree in photography from ENSAV La Cambre in 2022 and a DNA (National Diploma in Plastic Arts) from INSEAAM Beaux Arts in Marseille in 2018. She also completed an exchange at the U-LAVAL Visual Arts school in Quebec, Canada. Romane is laureate of TIFF 2024 Emerging Belgian Photography, by FOMU Fotomuseum Antwerpen and the european platform FUTURES Photography. Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions: in the United States (ART-ARK Gallery in San Jose, California; Assyrian Policy Institute in Washington, D.C.), in Brazil (João Pessoa Paraíba Nordeste Art Gallery of the Energisa Institute), in France (Circulation(s) Cent-Quatre Festival in Paris, Lille Art-Up Centre Photographique in Lille, La Grande Vitrine Gallery in Arles, HLM Gallery in Marseille), in Belgium (FOMU Fotomuseum Antwerp, S.M.A.K Museum in Ghent, House of European History Brussels, TAMAT Museum in Tournai, BPS22, Art-Brussels Off, Prix Médiatine, Hangar Art Photo Center, TICK-TACK Gallery, Tiny-Gallery, Fondation Carrefour des Arts), in Armenia (French Consulate in Yerevan), in Italy (L’Asilo in Naples), and in the Netherlands (Flemish Cultural Center). Sarah Mei Herman holds a BA in Photography from The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, and an MA in Fine Art Photography from London’s Royal College of Art.
Her personal projects explore relationships, intimacy, loneliness, longing, and the human urge for physical proximity, often focusing on the vulnerability of transitory life stages.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, at institutions and festivals such as The National Portrait Gallery, London; The Benaki Museum, Athens; Photo Elysée, Lausanne; Le Château d’Eau, Toulouse; The Jewish History Museum, Amsterdam; and the JIMEI x ARLES International Photo Festival, Xiamen. Her projects have been recognised by a range of prizes and awards, including the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize, the Hyères Festival of Fashion and Photography and the Arnold Newman Prize For New Directions in Photographic Portraiture. Her work is found in several public and private art collections, whilst her images have been published by the likes of iD, Vogue Italia, Foam Magazine, Paper Journal and Dear Dave. Herman’s second photo book – Julian & Jonathan – was recently published by the London-based GOST Books. Future 2025 exhibitions include solo shows at Concertgebouw Brugge in Belgium, and at GLAZ festival in Rennes, France.

Salvatore Vitale (b. 1986, Palermo, Italy) is a Swiss-based artist, director, and professor whose work explores the complexity of contemporary societies. Using expanded and speculative storytelling through mixed media techniques, he focuses on the politics of systems that regulate modernity and the impact of technological transformations.
Vitale is the Artistic Director of EXPOSED Torino Foto Festival and FUTURES Photography, both international platforms dedicated to contemporary photography. He also serves as a Professor at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, where he leads the Transmedia Storytelling Programme. Previously, he was the co-founder and editor-in-chief of YET magazine, an international photography publication.
Vitale’s work has received international awards. It is featured in several public and private collections and has been widely exhibited in museums and at festivals worldwide.

Ángel Luis González Fernández is a designer, artist, and curator supporting engaging visual arts practices, winner of Business to Arts David Manley Emerging Entrepreneur Awards 2011.
His work manifests through PhotoIreland, which he founded in 2010 to stimulate a critical dialogue on Photography. He devises curatorial projects placing conversations in the public realm around visual culture, critical thinking. These include events (PhotoIreland Festival, Halftone Print Fair, arts residency How to Flatten a Mountain, and New Irish Works), a cultural hub (The Library Project: Ireland’s Art bookshop, host to a unique resource library of photobooks and a productive arts programme), publishing projects that distribute inexpensive access to local practices, research projects (Critical Academy: examining contemporary art practices). He works collaboratively with a growing network of organisations, noticeably through ambitious Creative Europe partnerships.
During the Summer 2020 lockdown he launched the critical publication OVER Journal, now distributed globally. He received the Arts Council of Ireland’s Visual Arts Bursary to deepen research on the broad historical and specific artistic context of Photography in Ireland, to curate an ambitious survey exhibition in PhotoIreland Festival 2022 and to publish a series of publications on the matter. He regularly contributes to publications such as the forthcoming The Routledge Companion to Global Photographies, edited by Lucy Soutter, Duncan Wooldridge.

Iveta Gabaliņa (1979) is a curator, artist and educator. She has studied photography at the studio of Andrejs Grants, at Bournemouth Art Institute, and in the MA programme at Alto University in Helsinki. Her work has been exhibited in Latvia and internationally, including at C/O (Berlin, Germany), GESTE (Paris), and Williams Tower Gallery (Houston, USA). Gabaliņa has participated in photography festivals in Singapore, Hanover, and elsewhere. Her work is included in the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum, Geste Paris, and the Deutsche Börse Art Collection.
Since 2008 she has been part of ISSP team, responsible for numerous educational and curatorial projects. In 2018 she founded ISSP Gallery - an exhibition space dedicated to contemporary photography.

I’ve always loved photography, even if it sounds like a cliche. The first photos I took, I did without knowing how to do that, without paying any attention to framing, subject or composition. After a while, I began to understand what is happening in the space between me as a photographer and the subject I was photographing. And many years later, I also understood why I love to photograph. To communicate. A message, a concept, an emotion.
