Ieva Baltaduonyte (b.1988 in Kaunas, Lithuania) is a lens based artist and graduate of thePhotography BA programme at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Informed by her own personal experience of displacement, her artistic practice engages with topics and issues relating to migratory culture. Central to her work are the psychological consequences of migration, such as displacement trauma, as well as the concepts home, identity and the in-between state. After spending seventeen years living in Dublin, Ireland, Ieva has recently returned to her native Lithuania, where she is currently based. Transnational migration is perhaps the most highly contested issue across Europe. For new migrants spatial and temporal displacement is potentially traumatic, resulting in shifting identities where home can no longer be understood as a fixed knowable entity. Ieva is preoccupied with revealing personal and collective narratives where trauma, identity and memory encourage a deeper engagement with cross-cultural dialogue. By using photography for both personal expression and to foster a critical dialogue with contemporary society, she invites the viewer to participate in societal debates, foregrounding human experiences, and exposing what is otherwise obscured or ignored. Her carefully constructed projects combine politics and aesthetics inviting a dialogical relationship with the viewer.
Balázs Turós (b. 1990) studied at the Department of Photography at Budapest’s Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. After finishing his BA, Turós moved to England, where he was introduced to FotoNow – a media-based social enterprise in Plymouth, with whom he worked for two years. Having returned to Budapest, he pursued a Master of Photography course at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. Turós was awarded the József Pécsi Fellowship in 2018, 2019 and 2020. In 2021, he participated in the Fellowship of the Robert Capa Photography Grand Prize. The following year, his works featured in the Open Program of Fotofestiwal Lodz, Poland.

Filips Smits (b. 1996, Rīga) is a Latvian visual artist working with analogue photography, staged scenarios, and interventions in public space. His practiceexplores how urban environments and light shape bodily experience, social rituals, and forms of togetherness, reframing everyday reality through a surreal and poetic lens. Influenced by Situationist psychogeography and the dérive, Smits approaches the city as a living organism structured by visible architecture and hidden social codes.He is a nominee for the Latvian Annual Art Award and the recipient of the FK Prize for Best Young Latvian Photographer. His central long-term project, Let’s Get Sun-Kissed, investigates rest, presence, and rituals of renewal in the Baltic context, shaped by northern light, short summers, and post-Soviet urban landscapes. Through collaborative, carefully staged photographic situations, Smits examines how moments of stillness can quietly challenge behavioral norms and reimagine public space as a site of intimacy, vulnerability, and collective experience.
Róbert Nunkovics (1993) examines the relational systems of urban life, exploring naive artistic attempts appearing in public spaces, graffiti, and the acts of their reception through the medium of photography and video. In his own images, he presents urban space as various, freely usable surfaces for artistic creation. He sensitively combines research-based mediums - objects, memories, drawings, or collective photography - with works coming from his own observations, delicately examining the issues of our environment and social groups.
Peters Jurgis (b. 1991) is a new media artist currently based in Riga, Latvia. He holds both a BSc in Digital Media Technology and an MSc in Cyber Security from the University of Birmingham, and an MA in Audiovisual Arts from the Art Academy of Latvia. His work comprises visual explorations into the impact of various phenomena caused by advances in technology. As such, a main focus of his work is Artificial Intelligence (AI) – both as a medium and on a conceptual basis. New developments in AI have sparked a series of heated debates, ranging from whether we can entrust critical tasks to AI, to conversations on the role of the human creator in an age of AI-generated content. With a background in machine learning algorithms, Jurgis believes that the future will bring AI and human co-creation – where algorithms are used to enhance a human artist’s capabilities. In his own practice, Jurgis applies new technologies as tools for visual storytelling, and as a means to speculate on future scenarios.
Scarlat’s work has been recognised and awarded in several national and international competitions, such as PHotoEspaña, the Emerging Photographer Fund (Magnum Foundation), World Nomads, Promoción del Arte at Tabacalera Cantera, Visa pour l’image, Matera European Photography, Artistas Novos, and Creación Injuve. In 2021 he received a bookmaking scholarship at Magnum Photos. This year he also has received a long-term mentorship scholarship at Magnum Photos, and he is currently working with Gregory Halpern and Alessandra Sanguinetti for this project.
Scarlat has always been interested in working with his family from Romania. After leaving in 2005 at the age of 11 and having spent 15 years away, his relationship with them has changed. In his projects, he like to insist on those tensions and conflicts that have arisen as a result of moving to Spain. He is interested in Eastern Europe, Romania, alcoholics, his mother, religion, death, the traces of communism on people's faces, gypsies, children, the cemetery, the lake, wedding dresses, unmarried women, dead girls in wedding dresses, dead horses, boys playing soccer, abandoned dogs, funerals, weddings, enchantments, women who are going to clean the graves in the cemetery, flowers, gold…
Marc-Antoine Garnier (b. 1989) is a French photographer and visual artist, who graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d’art et Design Le Havre-Rouen. In recent years, he has presented his works in numerous exhibitions. His pieces have been collected by the FRAC Normandie-Rouen, as well as several art libraries in France. Garnier’s research finds particular appreciation in Japan, where he exhibited at the Nishieda Foundation as part of the Nuit Blanche de Kyoto in 2017, and at the Tezukayama Gallery in 2016.

In his photos, naturalism and realism are greatly anesthetized and organized into tight compositions. The works vibrate between an intimate and a more distanced approach. The artist’s intent to systematize and to create is unavoidably present in the pictures, but his neutral use of space and backgrounds being completely free from identity, provide adequate territory for the observer’s personal interpretation. His art also exhibits noticeable cohesion. This does not sprout from a labored stylistic mannerism but instead from the explicit and successful display of a distinct vision.

Sebastian Koudijzer (b. 1993) studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, the Netherlands. Growing up as a child of different races – and surrounded by a large extended family on his Javanese side – he is interested in how identities are created. Using various techniques, he creates intimate stories that address themes of family, faith, identity, and their representations. Collaboration plays an important role in his projects; Koudijzer likes to give those he photographs space for their own voice. His work is an attempt to bring disappearing traditions, values and spirituality back into his own reality, with the camera becoming an exploratory tool.
In our work, we explore the result of the interplay between previous and present generations, between the crew and the entertainment we provide for the locals in the places where we shoot. We use tools like traditional film photography, performance, and mixed media, operating at the interface between non-traditional documentary and marginalized fashion photography, in the contemporary environment.
Once a year we put people of our generation in conditions where they intensely experience the conflict between the cultural wealth we inherit from previous generations and the new international, material, spiritual values that impact us in the modern world. Reconciling and integrating this conflict allows us to move on culturally and spiritually and to reveal hidden aspects of life in Ukraine.
I'm a photographer based in Brussels. After a stint at the École Nationale Supérieure de Photographie in Arles, France, I have developed my practice with the support of various art institutions, including Wiels Contemporary Art Center, Musée du Quai Branly in Paris, Centre photographique d'Île-de-France, FOMU in Antwerp, and Institut Fondamental d'Afrique Noire in Dakar. My work operates at the crossroads of official history, erased memory, and personal narrative, exploring the ecological, social, and spiritual transformations that marked the Brazilian Amazon at the turn of the 20th century. Through my practice, I examine the philosophical and phantasmal framework that sustain the ideals of discovery, conquest, and supremacy central to Western modernity, offering a subtle yet incisive reflection on their enduring impact.
Dea Botica (b. 1995) holds a BA in Cinematography and an MA in Photography, which she completed at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. Her artistic work uses photography as a medium to explore topics of everyday life, identity, family heritage and tradition. Thus far, Botica’s work has been exhibited at several group and solo shows in Croatia and beyond. She has participated in several residency programmes – most recently in 2021, as part of the European Union art-research project, Island Connect.
Olgaç has most recently been featured in British Journal of Photography's "Ones to Watch" photographers of 2019, and Aperture’s "Element of Style" issue, that investigates the role of style, dress, and beauty in the formation of individual identity. Katerina is an artist based in Athens. She leads a lens-based practice that explores the relationship between space and narratives through long-term research projects. An exploration that expanded and developed during her decade long scenography practice, and evolved into incorporating a different medium. Her work often utilizes public oral archives, fragmented narratives and the spaces they inhabit to retell stories that have been silenced or misrepresented.Her first monograph, “The Fumes of Mars” will be published by GOST Books in the Summer of 2025. This work has won The Format Reviewers Choice Award 2022, was featured in the printed and online issue of the British Journal for Photography (BJP) that was presented in Paris Photo ‘21, was selected and featured for the COCA Project 2021, was shortlisted for the Belfast Dummy Award and Festival ’22, and was exhibited at LCC in London as part of the “Common Ground” Exhibition.She holds a BSc in Mathematics & Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London, a BA in Design for Performce from Central Saint Martin’s and a MA with Distinction in Photojournalism & Documentary Photography from LCC.
Lorenzo uses the photography as a way of expression; he refines his technique during a long collaboration in the backstages for several fashion brands, a collaboration that still exists.

Through the use of a camera he captures images that evoke emotions and thoughts; he is not a lover of photographic manipulation through programs, in fact he creates installations to recreate what he thought and felt while visiting those places.
With additional background in gender studies & activism Marta’s artistic work focuses on geopolitical and social issues, gossip & fiction, as well as personal experiences. She experiments with various media including participatory workshops and sound installations..
Marta’s work was shown e.g. at OBSCURA Festival of Photography in Malaysia, at TIFF Festival in Wroclaw, at ODESA PHOTO DAYS 2020, BLICA - First Biennale of Arts in Lebanon. Photobook presenting SHIFTERS project is shortlisted for Mack First Book Award 2020. She was selected for several residencies, most recently Landskrona Foto Residency (2020), as well as Nida Art Colony, Gasworks, and Botkyrka Konsthal. She took part in ‘Re-Tooling Residencies Project’ organised by CCA Warsaw. She created & curated ‘Fenix Cities: workshops and exhibitions in Warsaw and Beirut’.

Damien Caccia (b. 1989) studied at the École supérieure d’arts des Rocailles, and then at the École Supérieure des beaux-arts de Nantes. His creative approach is based on narration: viewers are drawn into a fictional visual world, playing their own role in its creation. Using various materials – acrylic paint on glass, concrete, plaster, bleached tarps and fabrics – Caccia works at the frontiers of abstraction, with light, shape and colour offering rhythm to his creations. A co-founder of Grande Surface, an artist-run space in Brussels, his work has been exhibited by a range of institutions in France and Belgium.
