Téo Becher

Sixtine de Thé is a French photographer based in Paris. Her work is expressed as a sensory cartography of the visible and the invisible, where themes such as the body, the face and the territory are prevalent. Often on the verge of disappearance or destruction, her images attempt to answer the question: what remains? She has exhibited in France, at Private Choice, Galerie Dohyang Lee, Festival Photo Saint-Germain, Fondation Luma (Arles), and abroad (Lebanon, United States). In 2021, her project Pellicules Aveugles won a jury prize at the Prix Dior pour Jeunes Talents. In 2022, she was awarded the Villa Al Qamar, a residency at the Institut Français du Liban, as well as the research and production residency at the Centre Photographique d'Île-de-France for her project Quelque chose qui noire, a photographic installation on darkness in Lebanon, which was also a ‘Coup de cœur’ at the Prix LE BAL/ADAGP in 2023. Born in France in 1991, Sixtine de Thé lives and works in Paris. She graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2021, after studying art history at the École Normale Supérieure and the École du Louvre.

Andreas Hopfgarten (b. 1987) is a German visual artist and photographer based in Reykjavik, Iceland. His research-based practice explores the intersection of personal and collective histories. Through intuitive storytelling, his work incorporates film, sculpture, and installation techniques, creating multi-layered narratives. Hopfgarten’s projects often reflect on memory, identity, and the cultural forces that shape them. He earned a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Fine Arts Hamburg (HFBK Hamburg; Prof. Simon Denny) in 2023 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the same institution in 2020 (Prof. Simon Denny). His academic background also includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg) and a diploma in photography from the Photo+Media Forum Kiel. His work has been exhibited internationally in notable venues and festivals, including the Haus der Photographie, Deichtorhallen in Hamburg, NRW Forum in Düsseldorf, Goethe-Institut Nicosia in Cyprus, the Voies OFF Festival in Arles, and the Einar Jónsson Museum in Reykjavik, Iceland. Hopfgarten has been recognized with several awards, such as the Claussen-Simon Foundation Fellowship (2019/2020) and the gute aussichten – junge deutsche fotografie (2016/2017).

Paweł Starzec (Ph. D) is a documentalist, photographer, sociologist, academic teacher. Mainly interested in long-term projects focusing on envisioning broader processes through their aftermath and consequences. Recipient of the Young Poland 2024 Ministry of Culture scholarship, PixHouse Talent of the Year Scholar award, Artistic Scholarship of the Mayor of Wrocław 2024, winner of Urbanautica Institute Award, Enconctros da Imagem Discovery Award and Spojrzenia Award, received honorable mentions in Allegro Prize, Lodz Fotofestival Grand Prix, and CDS Documentary Essay Prize, finalist of the Polityka Passports Award and Grand Press Photo. His works are in collections of Encontros Da Imagem (PT) and National Institute of Architecture and Urbanism (PL). As a sociologist, he researches modern iconographies and visual narratives. Vice- Dean of the Faculty of Design at SWPS University and Head of Communication Design speciality at the School of Form USWPS. Creator of workshop programs, co-founder of Azimuth Press art/ education collective. Member of APP platform. Graduate of Applied Sociology Department of University of Warsaw, and of Institute of Creative Photography of Silesian University in Opava (MA). Part time musician and sound artist under various monikers. DIY / zine culture enthusiast.

Jeroen De Wandel uses photography as a starting point to create new images from all sorts of material (photographic or otherwise), using his own photography in different shapes, contexts and meanings. His artistic work often starts from a personal need to react within a social context / our society. A common thread is the functioning of our brain: how we deal with zeitgeist, with information, with manipulation, with technology and how all this reflects back on our psychological well-being. Depending on the angle and location, he uses different techniques, from photography and collages to installations, sculptures and spatial interventions. Thi My Lien Nguyen (b. 1995) is a Swiss-Vietnamese photographer and artist based in Switzerland. She received her Bachelor's degree in Camera Arts from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in 2017. In her artistic practice she deals with the feeling and understanding of belonging, participation and the sense of home, whereas she is strongly interested in diasporic and post-migrant realities and stories. Through participatory and inclusive methods, performative and culinary activations she seeks to establish more inclusive spaces to create more understanding and representations between communities. She works with traditions, rituals, folklore, photography and food. Her work has been exhibited in multiple exhibitions including the 22nd Biennial Sesc_Videobrasil in São Paulo (2023), Museum Haus Konstruktiv Zürich (2023), Plat(t)form, Fotomuseum Winterthur (2022), Photo Hanoi, Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA) (2021). Nguyen is part of the curatorial team at Les Complices*, a self-organised community-based off-space in Zurich, committed to support the ideas and works of queer, trans, inter, non-binary, women* and BIPoC.‍

Zagyvai Sári is an artist based in Budapest. She graduated from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design with a degree in Visual Communication, majoring in Photography. She started her doctorate studies at MOME in 2014 and received her DLA in Multimedia in 2023. Represented by Viltin Gallery, Budapest. Her works have been shown in several solo and group exhibitions in Hungary and abroad. In recent years her solo exhibition entitled Aitotype was opened in 2023 at the B32 Gallery in Budapest. In 2022 her solo exhibition entitled Excursion was opened at Viltin Gallery, Budapest. In 2023, she participated in the group exhibition Natural Light at the Liszt Institute in Brussels. In 2022 she exhibited at the Off Festival in Bratislava under the theme Elsewhere.

After working for several years as an Art Director, Thomas Albdorf studied Transmedia Art at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna, where he graduated in 2013. He was selected as an international “Artists to Watch” by British Journal of Photography in 2014; he won the UNSEEN Amsterdam Talent Award in 2016. He had institutional solo shows at FOAM Amsterdam (NL) and Museum Folkwang (DE), and his work has been exhibited throughout galleries in Europe & the United States. He has been featured in and interviewed for magazines like FOAM Magazine, British Journal of Photography, The New Yorker, The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Wallstreet Journal, The Guardian and many more. He received the Austrian State Scholarship for Fine Art Photography in 2024.

Dev Dhunsi (b. 1996) is a multimedia artist working at the intersection of photography, textiles, and installation. Utilizing water and movement as central elements in his projects, he creates works that invite reflection on complex themes such as identity, belonging, migration, social justice, and injustice. Through his art, Dhunsi provides space for stories that are often overlooked or suppressed, illustrating how historical, cultural, and political forces shape our lives and experiences. Addressing global issues like migration and colonialism as well as personal experiences of loss and belonging, he creates works that connect past and present, diverse geographies, and identities. His work encourages viewers to reflect on how we understand and relate to the world around us as he simultaneously look at the world through a lens of queer theories and diasporic gaze. Recent exhibitions include: Fotogalleriet (Oslo; NO), Mint abf (Stockholm; SE), MELK (Oslo; NO), Kunstnernes Hus (Oslo; NO), National Sports Museum in Stockholm (SE; Stockholm).

Jaka Teršek (b. 1997, Slovenia) is a photographer and visual artist whose work explores themes of national identity, mythology, and the interplay between geography and human culture. He frequently combines photography with text, creating narratives that blur the boundaries between fact and fiction. He holds a BA in Photography from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Ljubljana and an MFA from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, where he is currently engaged as an artistic researcher. His series OWL, FOX, HEDGEHOG, DEER was finalist in the Blurring the Lines competition organised by Paris College of Art in 2022 and was shortlisted for the PhMuseum Photography Grant in 2023. Jaka has exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions, including at FOMU Antwerp, Gallery Artget Belgrade, Plečnik House Gallery, Gallery DobraVaga Ljubljana, and UGM Maribor. He is also a founding member of the collectives Fotosfera and Študio.
