Glorija Lizde

Zoé Aubry (1993) develops a practice of critical, feminist, and experimental visual research through photography, within installations that unfold in space. Her work aims to reveal the mechanisms of visibility, and invisibility of dominant media narratives, notably through the use of poor images, inverting the logics of the attention economy. Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Photography from ECAL - École cantonale d’art de Lausanne and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Artistic Practices from HEAD - Haute école d’art et de design de Genève, her book #Ingrid (2022), co-published by RVBBOOKS and Gato Negro Ediciones, was shortlisted for the Autor Book Award at the Rencontres d’Arles and won the Most Beautiful Swiss Books award. Her work has been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions, including « The Lure of the Image » at Fotomuseum Winterthur, «LES RESISTANTES» in Paris, « Concerned » at the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum, at the Musée des beaux-arts du Locle or in Arles, and several festivals including Athens Photo Festival, Biennale de l’image tangible Paris, Guernsey Photography Festival or Les Rencontres de la Photographie de Marrakech. She was the laureate of the Photographic Survey of the City of Geneva in 2021, and of the Swiss Federal Design Awards in 2018. Converging or in parallel, she fights within collective and associative projects and co-founds several initiatives where cultural work and political commitment meet to militate both towards utopias and direct field perspectives.

Glorija Lizde (b. 1991, Split) holds an MA in Photography (Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb) and a BA in Film and Video (Arts Academy Split). Her practice focuses on recreation and reinterpretation of the archives and memory interweaving documentary and staged photography, text and objects. She has had several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows in Croatia and internationally, including the O21 OSTRALE Biennale, She Who Starts the Song (17th Gjon Mili International Exhibition of Photography and Moving Image), Familiar Fantoms (Residency Unlimited, New York), Of This World – Envisioning Alternative Cartographies (Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center), Being/Seeing (QUAD Gallery), Athens Photo Festival (Benaki Museum), In-between (The Bridge and Tunnel Gallery, New York), Floodlit Room – Women’s Photographic Practices in Croatia, among others. Her works are included in the collections of the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb and the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts in Japan. Lizde was selected for the international emerging artists program Parallel – European Photo Based Platform in 2018 and 2021. She received the Dr. Éva Kahán Foundation Scholarship and Residency in 2022 and was awarded the Radoslav Putar Award the same year, recognizing her as the best young visual artist in Croatia.

Sarah Stone (U.K., 1994) is a photographer and artist based in Antwerp, Belgium. She received her master’s degree in photography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 2022, winning the Photography Department prize. Her photographs have been published in .Tiff Magazine, Der Greif and Subbacultcha/Different Class and self-published books such as: 'La Vie De Camille' (2023), ‘ANNA’ (2022) and ‘The End of The Pipeline’ (2021). Her project '76 collages' was published by SO-RI in 2021 and a following series ‘98 collages’ is set to be published in 2025. In 2023 her image 'Whistle' from the project 'ANNA' was selected for ONBOARDSBiennale, an exhibition of art displayed on billboards throughout Antwerp. Her collage 'West Virginia Interior' was published in Karoo magazine in 2024. In 2024 Stone exhibited her work as part of the outside art trail "Out ofOffice" with BREEDBEELD in Gooik, Belgium and in 2023 with the FOMU(Photography Museum Antwerp) as part of .Tiff. Her collages were exhibited withStieglitz19 Gallery in the group show ‘Collage! Collage! Collage!’ with Vincent Delbrouck and Miriam Tolke (2021) as well as a pop-up in (2020). In 2025 she began her own TOT ZINES project, publishing local artists in the zine format. Stone’s work is created around a strong signature of aesthetic, poetic and colourful images, conveying a powerful message. This is substantiated by her usage of analog photography, creating imagery that presents an open and honest reflection of her surroundings, details, friends or objects that she is drawn to. Shot on 35mm film, they reveal her inner life at a certain time, almost like a distant diary. Stone's series are often founded on human traces, whether that be in personal relationships, or relationships to objects and materiality. Each with its own angle of approach, but based on the beauty of life and it's details. Her photographs illustrate and inspire people to embrace colour, texture, shape, and to see the world as a theatrical stage, full of props and characters. To capture the atmospheric variety of photographs, Stone uses various analogue cameras and experiments with making collages, using paint in her collages and works on paper.

Catherine Lemblé (b. 1990) is a Belgian photographer based in Brussels. She received her MA in photography from Luca School of Arts Brussels. Her work has been exhibited at FOMU (Antwerp), De Brakke Grond (Amsterdam), Contretype (Brussels), Musée de la Photographie (Charleroi) and Helsinki Photo Festival, amongst others. She was selected for .tiff (FOMU, Antwerp) and FUTURES (European Photography Platform) in 2024. Her photographs have been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Stern, De Standaard, and Frankfurter Allgemeine Quarterly. Through ana­log pictures she examines the ever-chang­ing rela­tion­ship between humans and the more-than-human world. Her second and most recent photo book, Only Barely Still – On Women and Wilderness, challenges conventional ideas about the Arctic and its collective imagination by focusing on the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard and the lives of the women who inhabit it.

Sarah Mei Herman holds a BA in Photography from The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, and an MA in Fine Art Photography from London’s Royal College of Art. Her personal projects explore relationships, intimacy, loneliness, longing, and the human urge for physical proximity, often focusing on the vulnerability of transitory life stages. Her work has been exhibited internationally, at institutions and festivals such as The National Portrait Gallery, London; The Benaki Museum, Athens; Photo Elysée, Lausanne; Le Château d’Eau, Toulouse; The Jewish History Museum, Amsterdam; and the JIMEI x ARLES International Photo Festival, Xiamen. Her projects have been recognised by a range of prizes and awards, including the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize, the Hyères Festival of Fashion and Photography and the Arnold Newman Prize For New Directions in Photographic Portraiture. Her work is found in several public and private art collections, whilst her images have been published by the likes of iD, Vogue Italia, Foam Magazine, Paper Journal and Dear Dave. Herman’s second photo book – Julian & Jonathan – was recently published by the London-based GOST Books. Future 2025 exhibitions include solo shows at Concertgebouw Brugge in Belgium, and at GLAZ festival in Rennes, France.

Paweł Starzec (Ph. D) is a documentalist, photographer, sociologist, academic teacher. Mainly interested in long-term projects focusing on envisioning broader processes through their aftermath and consequences. Recipient of the Young Poland 2024 Ministry of Culture scholarship, PixHouse Talent of the Year Scholar award, Artistic Scholarship of the Mayor of Wrocław 2024, winner of Urbanautica Institute Award, Enconctros da Imagem Discovery Award and Spojrzenia Award, received honorable mentions in Allegro Prize, Lodz Fotofestival Grand Prix, and CDS Documentary Essay Prize, finalist of the Polityka Passports Award and Grand Press Photo. His works are in collections of Encontros Da Imagem (PT) and National Institute of Architecture and Urbanism (PL). As a sociologist, he researches modern iconographies and visual narratives. Vice- Dean of the Faculty of Design at SWPS University and Head of Communication Design speciality at the School of Form USWPS. Creator of workshop programs, co-founder of Azimuth Press art/ education collective. Member of APP platform. Graduate of Applied Sociology Department of University of Warsaw, and of Institute of Creative Photography of Silesian University in Opava (MA). Part time musician and sound artist under various monikers. DIY / zine culture enthusiast.

Linda Zhengová is a Czech-Chinese photographer, writer, and curator based in Paris. Her work is rooted in an exploration of human emotions, ranging from vulnerability and trauma to the search for happiness. Through photography and interdisciplinary methods, she strives to capture fleeting emotional states, the intimate connections between strangers, and personal transformation. Her imagery, evocative of a bygone era, suggests that memory is the space where love most vividly resides. By confronting viewers with moments of vulnerability and intimacy, her work invites a deep reflection on the intensity of human relationships. Through this, Zhengová challenges us to reconsider how we connect with both ourselves and others, offering a delicate balance between discomfort and empathy.

Florine Thiebaud (b. 1992, France) is a photographer based in Marseille. With a post-documentary practice that combines photography and writing, she places a significant emphasis on publishing. She explores the notions of imprisonment and isolation, the passage of time, loss of control, identity, and her connection to others. From 2016 to 2019, she developed two projects focused on the consequences of the waiting for papers for exiled people in Greece, placing the relationship with the other at the heart of her practice.The first was the project Exils, which won the Roger de Conynck Prize and was exhibited at the Recylart Gallery in Brussels, followed by Breaking Point. The latter was co-published as a book in May 2022 with Stockmans Art Books, and was exhibited at FOMU in Antwerp and at the Contretype Gallery in Brussels as part of the .TIFF selection and Propositions d’Artistes. Developing her reflections on notions of imprisonment and isolation and their consequences, she is currently working on a project about families of incarcerated people, Des Ondes (On Waves), based on a personal story. This project has received support from the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, and part of it was already exhibited in 2023 at the Delta Cultural Center in Namur as part of a group exhibition. In parallel, following confrontations with her own physical and mental limits facing depression, she developped a new series of self-portraits: Revenir (Coming back). Using once again repetitive imagery and a consistent aesthetic, she explores the intersection of vulnerability, isolation, and transformation through self-portraiture. Photographing herself during moments of crisis and depression, she seeks to capture the disconnect between her inner world and reality.
