Nikhil Vettukattilb. 1990, Bengaluru, India) is an artist and writer who lives and works in Oslo.

He uses a range of media such as sound, installation, performance, text, sculpture, and video, his practice questions modes of representation and image-making processes related to lived experiences. He has previously exhibited at venues such as Kunsthall Oslo (2022), K-U-K, Trondheim (2021), CAPC, Bordeaux (2021), Art Hub Copenhagen (2021), K4 Galleri, Oslo (2021), Louise Dany, Oslo (2020), EKA Gallery, Tallinn (2020), Kristiansand Kunsthall (2020), and Le Bourgeois, London (2019). Forthcoming exhibitions include Kunstnerforbundet, Oslo, and the National Museum of Norway, both taking place in June 2022. He is a member of Tenthaus and Carrie's art collectives and a part of Atelier Kunstnerforbundet (2021-2023).

Oana Stoian was born in Lugoj (Romania) in 1993. Her passion for art distinguished itself since childhood, when she started to express her creativity – first through painting and then, during her adolescence, through the discovery of photography as her medium of choice. Her work shows an abstraction of reality, a loss of identity in the context of mysterious scenes.

In 2015, she received her Bachelor's degree from the Department of Photography-Videography at the Art and Design College, West University of Timisoara and, in 2017, her Master's degree in Publicity Graphics. In December 2015, she had her first personal photography exhibition in Timisoara, followed in the next few years by several personal and group exhibitions. In 2016, Oana was selected for the Professional shortlist in the Staged category of the Sony World Photography Awards.

Spiros Zervoudakis was born in Athens. He studied Mathematics in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki , continued with Post Graduate studies (Msc) in Applied Mathematics in Technical University of Crete and Philosophy of Mathematics in National University of Athens.

His interest in Photography started when he attended classes on the medium in the Photographic Group of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continued by attending seminars and workshops. He has presented his work in individual and group Exhibitions both in Greece and abroad and his works have been awarded prizes in National and International Competitions. His works are exhibited in the “Benaki Museum”, in the Benetton Foundation’s collection, in Thessaloniki Museum of Photography (MOMus), in the Municipal Gallery of Chania, in “Contemporary Art Museum – Olivepress” as well as in many private collections in Greece and abroad. He lives, works and creates in the city of Chania, Crete.

Nominated for Futures by the British Journal of Photography, Rie Yamada (b. 1984) was born in Nagoya, Japan. She lives and works in Berlin, Germany.

In her most recent work, Rie Yamada stages self-portraits through other people, finding her source matter in family photo albums acquired from Japan, her homeland, and Germany, where she now lives, recreating scenes in her own likeness. Highlighting gender stereotypes and social archetypes, her often humorous work questions not just the family, but the changing role of photography itself in expressing how we want to be perceived. The images are, in a sense, a search for her own image, in the same way a family photo is intended to define and project their identity.

Born in Taranto in 1993, after graduating in Cultural Heritage, Claudia Fuggetti attended the Master's degree in Photography and Visual Design at NABA, Milan. Subsequently, she graduated with honors in Digital Cultures at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. Her works have been exhibited at Les Rencontres de la Photographie Arles (FR), Fotofestival Lenzburg (CH), Copenhagen Photo Festival (DK), Rotterdam Photo Festival (NL), PhMuseum Days (IT), Geste Paris (FR), Giovane Fotografia Italiana (IT) and MIA Fair (IT). She is also one of the 150 emerging talents in Europe for Fresh Eyes by GUP Magazine and British Journal of Photography's Edition 365 winner.

Armando Perna (Reggio Calabria, 1981) is a documentary photographer. Since 2013 he has been involved in a long term research focused on the process of militarization and compartmentalization of space seen as a result of practices rooted in the history of the Lebanese civil war, when Beirut was fragmented into well delineated territories each controlled by a sectarian militia. Armando Perna looks to what anthropologists call “prohibited spaces”: urban sites that were originally public and became “private”, inaccessible and out of reach for the majority of the population, because of the war and the urban renewal projects.

In 2013 his project “A3_Sa-Rc” is shortlisted for the architekturbild - European Prize for Architectural photography - (DAM, German museum of Architecture, Frankfurt ). Selected exhibitions: Museum of Estonian Architecture, KazimKuba, Kassel (2014); Vhs photogalerie, Stuttgart; International tag der Architektur, Vilnius; DAM, German Museum of Architecture, Frankfurt, GER (2013).

In 2014 the first version of his book project “Dahiye” is shortlisted for the fotobookfestival dummy award (Kassel, Germany). Selected exhibitions: Athens Photo Festival, The Photobook Museum, Cologne; PhotoIreland, Dublin, MIA Image Art Fair, Milan; Fotogaleriet, Oslo; Le Bal, Paris; Fotoleggendo, Rome (2014). In the same year Armando Perna joins the “Third Island Ag ’64 ’94 ’14” a research project dedicated to the promotion of an interdisciplinary and historical reflection on large-scale infrastructures in Italy curated by Antonio Ottomanelli. In this frame he presents “A3_Sa-Rc”, his work on the Southern Italy A3 Sa-Rc highway. “The Third Island” is published in 2016 by Planar books, and exposed at the Triennale Museum in Milan and at Palazzo Poli in Rome.

In 2017 his work on Dahiye and Shatila is presented at Pino Pascali Museum of Polignano a Mare (BA).

Barbora Bacova is a Slovak photographer, born on in Košice. She studied photography at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art in Univeristy of West Bohemia in Pilsen.

Her work is dominated by authentic recording of everyday situations with poetic- geometric narrative overlaps. The themes touch on temporality, imagination, fiction, and the search for new image contexts (re-evalution of image). Unformal documentary images are diversfield with abstract or stylized „cut-outs“ of the everyday colors. ". The conscious disruption of the timeline opens up the possibility of individual interpretation, which the viewer can understand as he or she wishes - without time constraints. Barbora in last years is interested in the relationship between static image and the moving image. Her inspiration often comes from eastern Slovakia,personal experience, the theme of growing up and aging, home, landscape,spending leisure time and health care.

She has participated in joint exhibition projects in France, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Rupublic and others. She participated in Pla(t)form 2020 in the Swiss Fotomuseum Winterthur, where she was selected along with 42 artists. Barbora Bacova actually lives and works in Košice.

Anna Orłowska received an MFA from the Photography Department at the National Film School in Łódz, Poland (2011) and an undergraduate degree from the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava,Czech Republic (2013).

She has participated in numerous group shows including reGeneration2: Tomorrow’s Photographers Today presented at the Musée de l’Elysée in Lausanne and the Aperture Foundation in New York. She held several solo exhibitions including Futerał at Wschód Gallery, Sunday Night Drama at Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, Leakage at the Panopticon in Stockholm and at the Discovery Award show at the Rencontres d’Arles 2015. In 2013 she was awarded a scholarship for the PhotoGlobal program at the School of Visual Arts in New York. In 2017 she received the Overseas Photographer Higashikawa Award.

Raphaël Barontini was born in France in 1984. He works and lives in Saint-Denis, in the northern suburbs of Paris. He studied at the Hunter College of Art in New York and at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux arts in Paris where he graduated in 2009.

His work was shown in galleries and museums all across the world, such as in France, USA, Haiti, Spain, United Kingdom, South Africa, Morocco, Mali, Peru, and Brazil. He also participated in international Biennales like Lima, Bamako, Thessaloniki or Casablanca.

He is represented by the Alain Gutharc Gallery in France since 2015, The Pill Gallery in Turkey since 2017 and Espai Tactel in Spain since 2018.

Marens van Leunen (1994) is a Dutch visual artist, currently based in Antwerp. Her work explores different layers within the everyday. She is interested in objects and spaces and their quality to carry meaning and memories. The relationship between individuals and their home environment and the objects within this space is often a starting point of her work. She creates images with multiple layers by both observing and staging, using personal memories and her imagination.

Andreea Harabagiu was born in Bacău, Romania, where she presently lives. Having studied graphics at The University of Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca, she currently works as a graphic designer. Passionate about documentary photography, she is on a path to pursue this career.
